Angela Pirlog is a distinguished academic and Associate Professor at the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, where she also leads the Modern Languages Department. Since beginning her tenure in January 1995, Angela has dedicated herself to the fields of economics, business administration, and foreign languages and literatures. Her academic journey is marked by a PhD in Economics and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the same institution, complemented by studies in Foreign Languages and Literatures at Bălți State University.Angela’s expertise extends beyond academia into global research; she is a co-investigator for Moldova in the GLOBE Research Project, which examines cultural practices and leadership across 150 countries. This role underscores her deep involvement in understanding and developing intercultural competence, further highlighted by her membership in the Intercultural Competence Development Center and SIETAR Europa.Residing in Chișinău, Moldova, Angela is an influential figure in educational and intercultural research circles. Her work not only enriches her students but also contributes significantly to global studies on leadership and cultural dynamics.
