Maria Cemortan is a researcher in Obstetrics and Gynecology, based in Moldova. She has conducted studies on the diagnosis and course of pregnancy and childbirth in women with intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy, as well as the assessment of vitamin K levels in women with intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy. Maria has also assessed the role of hematological inflammatory markers in pregnancy. She is a PhD student at Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Moldova and is set to defend her thesis in November 2023.
