Nellu Ciobanu is a Moldovan singer who graduated from music college in Tiraspol. She made her debut on stage in 1993 as part of the duo "Master Dinamit" with her brother. Nellu represented Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with the song "Hora din Moldova" and placed 14th. She is known for her worldbeat and pop music and has received the rank of Honoured Artist of Moldova.
