Nicolae Sadovei is a doctor habilitat in law and a professor at the Faculty of Law at the State University of Moldova. He has experience in penal and contraventional law and has served as the Prorector for Social Issues at USM. Sadovei has also conducted research in the field of medical law and has led a team of researchers at the Interuniversity Center for Medical Law. He has published articles on various legal topics, including civil law and employment relationships of civil servants in Moldova.
