Violeta Cojocaru, as a Prorector USM at the Universitatea de Stat din Moldova is an accomplished legal scholar with over 28 years of teaching experience. She holds a Bachelor's degree and PhD in Law, an MBA, and a PhD in legal science. She has contributed to the training of renowned legal experts, diplomats, and lawyers from the Republic of Moldova and has international experience in researching and teaching abroad. She is a Professor of International Law and has worked on various research projects and publications of books, monographs, and articles in law journals. Currently, she is working as Vice-rector of Moldova State University and will be a Fulbright Full Professor at Fordham University, School of Law in the fall semester of 2023. Her research domain is institutions and subjects of private law, conflict of laws, and conflicts of jurisdiction, solving disputes by extrajudicial and judicial methods.
