Zinaida Alexa is a doctor with a Doctor of Medicine degree in diabetes and a Master of Public Health degree from the School of Public Health Management of the State University of Medicine and Pharmaceutics "Nicolae Testemițanu" in the Republic of Moldova. She is currently the Deputy Medical Director of the Republican Clinical Hospital "Timofei Mosneaga" and the President of the Endocrinology Society of Moldova. She has conducted research on diabetes mellitus and health literacy, and has been cited numerous times for her work. Additionally, she is an expert in clinical endocrinology and has experience in implementing noncommunicable disease interventions in Moldova.
