Svetlana Djur is a scientist and researcher affiliated with the Oncological Institut of Moldova, the Institute of Microbiology and Biotechnology of Technical University of Moldova, and the Academy of Sciences in Moldova. Her research focuses on microalgal biotechnology, bionanotechnology, and the effects of PEG-coated silver and gold. She has published several works and has been cited by many. She holds a PhD in biological sciences and has conducted research on biotechnologies for obtaining spirulina-based preparations with high selenium and germanium content. She is also a scientific staff member at the Academy of Sciences in Moldova.
