WaveScan Technologies is a non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment and solutions spin-off company from the A*STAR's Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R), aiming to disrupt the inspection and NDT market by developing smart sensor systems that monitor, diagnose, and report anomalies in real time. Our proprietary IoT-based portable microwave & millimeter-wave sensors scan and extract relevant information from the defect patterns at the target sites, evaluate the condition using cloud-based AI algorithms, and notify their 'health.'​ This smart maintenance solution is well-integrable with unmanned autonomous robotic systems, allowing remote inspection at difficult-to-access locations. Together, by fusion of the sensor, IoT, AI, and robotic technologies, we envision a predictive and proactive ecosystem, which minimizes downtimes and increases productivity and efficiency.
