UNCTAD, along with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the World Health Organization (WHO), is calling on governments, the shipping industry, and other stakeholders to increase their efforts in protecting the health and safety of seafarers and preventing disruptions in the supply chain caused by the pandemic.
