iongenics is a company that creates and manufactures eco-friendly and safe systems for generating green hydrogen. They use PEM electrolyzers with a unique catalyst technology that can be used in various applications such as power generation, energy storage, hydrogenation reactors, fuel cells, and laser cutting. The company was established in September 2020 and was selected to the KWORKS start-up accelerator program in January 2020. The co-founders of iongenics are Asst. Prof. Erdal Uzunlar and Prof. Can Erkey, who have extensive knowledge in electrochemical systems and hydrogen. iongenics is located in Urla, Izmir, Turkey.
