AKUT Search and Rescue Association None

AKUT is a Turkish non-governmental organization that provides voluntary search and rescue services for people in need during natural disasters, mountain accidents, and other emergencies. The organization was founded in 1994 by a group of mountaineers who were dissatisfied with the ineffective rescue operation of two mountaineers in the Bolkar Mountains. AKUT is committed to providing high-quality rescue services using trained personnel and equipment, and to sharing knowledge with society without any political affiliation.
