Akela Pharma is a pharmaceutical company focused on developing therapeutics for pain using their proprietary drug delivery technologies. Their lead product candidate is FentanylTAIFUN®, an inhaled fentanyl formulation designed for rapid-acting relief of break-through cancer pain. They have entered into an exclusive license and development agreement with Janssen Pharmaceutica N.V. for the commercialization of Fentanyl TAIFUN®.
