Her grandfather, the doctor Simkha Apatchevesky, was from Bessarabia. She is the sister of Antoine Schneck.
She was a journalist at Arrêt sur images during the years 1995-1999, later she joined Canal +(NPA Midi et Soir, EAppartement, etc.) and in particular at i>Télé, the group's continuous news channel, where she hosted i> media from 2001 to 2007.
From September 2006 to June2009, she also produced l'ai mes sources, a daily media program broadcast on France Inter radio from Monday to Friday.
From September 2009 to June 2012, she produced and presented the literary
program Les Liaisonsheureuses, on Saturday afternoon on France Inter in partnership with Le Monde des livres. Prior to that, she was a columnist for Le Fou du Roi on the same radio station.
Since September 2012, she writes a literary column broadcast daily on France
Inter. In her novel, La Reparation (2012), she tells part of the story of her missing fam-
ily in Auschwitz. This book is translated into Italian, Polish, German, Dutch and Chi-
nese. In 2013, she obtained a writing residency at Villa Medici in Rome and a Stendhal
Mission Fellowship, awarded by the French Institute and conducted at Santa Cruz de la Sierra i n Bolivia.
