Her father, Joe (Joseph) Roizen, was born in Chisinäu. Venture capitalist, cor- porate director, Stanford lecturer, recovering entrepreneur and Mom. She co-founded software company T/Maker and served as its CEO for over a decade until its acquisi- tion by Deluxe Corporation. After a stint as Vice President of Worldwide Developer Relations at Apple, she became a venture capitalist, and am now a partner at Silicon Valley-based Threshold Ventures. Also currently a corporate director for public companies DMGT (ISE:DMGT) and Invitation Homes (NYSE:INVH) and private companies Planet, Upside Foods, Lumity and Polarr. Heidi Roizen co-lead the Threshold Venture Fellows program in the engineering department at Stanford University (where she also earned undergrad and MBA degrees) and serve on the Advisory Councils of Stanford's Institute for Hu- man-Centered Artificial Intelligence and Stanford Technology Ventures. In June 2009, Roizen was elected to the Board of Directors ofTiVo (NASDAQ:- 'TIVO), and in September, 2012, she was elected to theboard of DMGT (ISE:DMGT), the London-based global media and information company which owns the Daily Mail and Mail Online. At the time she was elected, she became the first female director in the company's 116-year history. Heidi Roizen was awarded 2018 Financial Woman of the Year by Financial Women of San Francisco.
