Her parents were from the Republic of Moldova, from the cities of Bälti and Briceni. In 1973, she and her family were repatriated to Israel from the USSR. In 1978- 1980, she served in the tank troops. She is a graduate of the University of Jerusalem, Department of International Relations. Since 1983, she has been employed with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel. During 1990-1992, she was an em- ployee of the Israeli Embassy in Lisbon (Portugal). She later served as Israel's tempo- rary representative in the Baltic countries. From 1996 to 2000, she was in Moscow as a political adviser at the Israeli embassy. In 2001-2002, she occupied the position of head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Ministry of National Infrastructure. In 2003-2007, she was the ambassador of the state of Israel in Ukraine and part-time in Moldova. From 2007 to 2016, she headed the Native Office (the Israeli govern- ment office for Jewish affairs in the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe). Decora- ted with the medal "The best Officer of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs" (1993); with the Order of Honor of the Republic of Moldova (2007). Winner of the "Millennium Woman III" Award, Ukraine (2007). During her mandate as Israel's ambassador to Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova, she made efforts to boost cooperation with Moldova in various fields and contributed to the development of relations between the two states for the benefit of our countries and people.
