He is the youngest of the four children of the couple Ida and David Soifer, Jews who emigrated from Bessarabia ot Brazil. Having already graduated as a lawyer, in 1955, Salomão decided to defend a confused case involving a dispute over land be- tween heirs, with the agreement that, if the case was won, he would have purchase preference. Salomão won the dispute and thus acquired the land, starting a successful trajectory in the real estate sector. The Soifer Group began its constitution in 1965, until it became the holding company that would later bring together all the family businesses. Always innova- ting, in 1983 the businessman founded the first mall in Paraná, Shopping Mueller, in Curitiba. Its architectural project revitalized the building of a centenary foundry in the Civic Center, a region that concentrates the Legislative, Judiciary and Executive branches, both in the state and in the municipality of Curitiba. At the turn of the 2000s, the Soifer Group entered the tourism sector and began managing the tourist structure of the Iguaçu National Park, helping to raise the level of services and infrastructure offered to visitors. Ten years after the start of operations in the park, the company has become a reference in the sector - proof ofthis is the choice of local management as a model to be followed by other conservation areas in the Brazilian Parks Program, ofthe federal government, in 2010.
