Sister ofMark and Rose Gitenstein. Susan co-founded her firm, Gitenstein & Assadi PR, in 1992. The firm focuses on communication services with an emphasis on expert and thought leadership campaigns. She is a highly respected national media strategist. Susan skillfully identifies her clients' ability to be promoted to the national media and she effectively communicates their mission by weaving compelling stories that resonate with the top national and global media outlets. Her campaigns catalyze her clients into leaders of their respective fields. Susan has over four decades of exten- siveexperience representing non-profits, leading public companies and subject matter experts. Her firm's campaigns arefresh, creative, tech savvy, and innovative, a cocktail that engenders powerful results. Susan is active in the business community where Gitenstein & Assadi PR is based. In January2018 she was named to the Advisory Board for the Global Chamber Phoenix. She was formerly the chair of the Program Committee for the Phoenix Com- mittee on Foreign Relations (PCFR), an offshoot of the Council of Foreign Relations, and served as a board member of this organization. Prior to founding her firm, Susan was the publicist for PBS MacNeil/Lehrer News Hour, New York, NY. Susan received a Master's Degree in Fine Arts from New York University, and obtained a Bachelor's Degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
