Her parents, Esfira Burd-Muchnik and Frank (Efim) Muchnik, immigrated from Moldova to the United States in the 1970s. Dr. Zelana, author of the book "21 Days to Resilience" published by HarperCollins and available in five languages, is a renowned media authority and consultant to executives, corporations, schools, and universities globally. As a proponent of mental wellness and debunking cultural myths, she frequently features on television programs such as the Dr. Oz Show, Access Hollywood, The Today Show, Good Morning America, and The Doctors.
