Honored Artist of Moldova Beno Axionov was born in a family of great musicians - Lvdia Aksonova, professor of the department of choral conducting at the Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts of the Republic of Moldova and Max Fishman, composer, pianist, teacher.
He learned the basics of theater in Chisinau, Leningrad and Moscow from legendary teachers - Nadezhda Aronetskaya (acting and directing), Maria Knebel and Pavel Chomsky (directing). The very first roles he played and the performances he staged showed that a colorful and unusual personality appeared on the Moldovan stage. The directors gladly began to invite him to their performances, knowing that this actor is able to create something extraordinary even from the most ordinary role.
Axionov's comic and tragic, dramatic and fairy-tale heroes have delighted more than one generation of viewers for many years and have long been remembered not only in Moldova, but also far beyond its borders. In addition to serving in the theater, Axionov teaches acting at the Institute of Arts. G. Muzicescu, acts in films, conducts satirical television programs "The hedgehog" and "Shop of the hedgehog", children's educational program "Guess". On the radio, he records programs based on works of Moldovan and Russian literature, is an active member of the team of the television theater of miniatures and puts on performances in various theater groups.
