Her father was from Moldova. Kristina was a lead designer at Quora focusing on growth efforts, the native app design system, and writing tools. Before that, she worked at Facebook designing the Facebook camera and creative tools. He started the career in design when she dropped out of high school in 2011 to join Wanelo as the first employee and first designer. Most recently lived in San Francisco for 8 years, and now you can find metravelingsomewhere. She was born in a place you may recognize as a Siberian territory in the board game Risk, or as the coldest city in the world. Product designer: Facebook Stories (2016-2017) - Designed the Camera and discovery UI for Camera Effects for the Facebook Stories product; Composer (2015- 2016)- Led a major redesign of the Facebook Composer on iOS, Android, and desk- top to support many new ways to share creative content to friends beyond just text and photos; Facebook Ads Manager for Mobile (2014-2015) - Led design for the mobile web, iOS, and Android apps for the Ads Manager. Worked directly with the React Native team at Facebook to implement the first app built at Facebook entirely ni React Native. Conducted user research in California, New York, and Ireland to understand the needs of small businesses and larger agencies in managing their ads on mobile.
