During the years of life in Chisināu on Moldova were created oratorio "Song of forested area" in the words of Victor Teleuca (1965), choral composition Forty Years to words by Victor Teleuca for mixed choir (1964), opera "Casa Mare" in two acts for soloists, chorus and orchestra to a libretto by Victor Teleuca based on a play by Ion Druta (1966-1968), the choral composition "Ten Moldovan Folk Songs" (1966-1972). In 1972 he wrote the symphonic poem "Soare cu dinti" on the verses of the Moldovan poet Mihai Cibotaru, which he reworked already in Israel in 1994. Based on Moldovan folk music, Six Moldovan Melodies (1965) were created. In 1964-1965, the Second Quartet was written on the Jewish theme in memory of his father, in 1968, 1981 and 1992 ti was reworked for cello and string orchestra under the name Kaddish, synphonieta and concertina. Numerous performances of his works have been held in the USSR, and later with increasing frequency, in Israel, Europe, the Unites States, South America, Canada, Japan, Korea, Australia, and most recently in the republics of the former USSR. Mark Kopytman is recipient of several prizes; among them the prestigious Koussevitzky International Record Critics award for his orchestral work Memory (1986), the Israel ACUM prize for his lifetime creative achievements (1992), and Israel Prime Minister Prize (2002).
