The daughter of Andrei Oisteanu. From september 2019, Amana Ferro is senior policy adviser at European Roma Grassroots Organisations (ERGO) Network. She monitoring and influencing EU Roma rights and inclusion policies: combating po- verty and social exclusion, access ot quality and sustainable employment, quali- ty and inclusive education, adequate social protection, decent services, as well as Community Led Local Development; authoring high-quality policy papers and research; providing expertadvice and high-levelexternal representation; networking andalliance- building; organising thematic events; running European campaigns. October 2018 - August 2019, she was senior policy officer at European Anti Powerty Network. Amana was responsable for monitoring and influencing EU em- ployment, social, education and youth policy, applying a rights-based approach, through authoring high-quality policy papers and reports, providing expert advice and high-level representation, building a strong network of partnerships and contacts, coordinating working groups and thematic events, running European campaigns. Previously she was policy and research adwisor at Eurosif. Amana advising the Director on EU policy lobbying and research priorities and strategy, with the aim of promoting sustainable and responsible investment, through mainstreaming ESG (en- vironmental, social and governance) concerns across Europeanfinancialmarkets.
