Initiated and led the "Exemption from Rent for Holocaust Survivors" Law, which
significantly increased old-age pensions to Holocaust survivors who receive income
support. Initiated and led bills that increased the maternity allowance to contract
workers and self-employed women. Was elected four times as one of the most socially focused Knesset members in the coalition.
