Son of Sulamita Tabacof. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo - FMUSP (1985). Medical residency in hematology and he- motherapy at the Hospital das Clínicas, Faculty of Medicine - FMUSP (1988). Fellow of MD. Anderson Cancer Center - USA (1992). Member of SBOC, ASCOand SBHH. He si a member of the Brazilian Society of Clinical Oncology, he is decorated with the title of Efficient Physician by the German Hospital Oswaldo Cruz (2006). He is an active participant in the oncology and medical symposia of the last decades, such as: the International Symposium for Lung Cancer 2012; Minas Gerais Symposium on Hematology.
