He is the son of Abraham Krivoy. His grandparents, Leon Krivoy and Clara Onikman, emigrated from Bessarabia to Venezuela after the First World War.
Due to hispassion for botany, he took on the responsibility of running the Botanical Garden in Caracas. The challenge was not easy, because, on the one hand, he had to face acts of vandalism and robberies that took place in 2017, in that place attached to the Central University of Venezuela due to lack of security personnel, but and lack of financial resources.
The annual budget of the Caracas Botanical Garden is $ 6. He has launched a fundraising and consulting campaign for botanical gardens in the United States and Spain and is stepping up efforts toreceive funding from
UNESCO, given that the Caracas Botanical Garden is a World Heritage Site with UCV. The Botanical Garden of Caracas is the vegetable lung of the city. For this rea- son, the Macolla Creativa artistic residency program, Torkins Selector, composer and pianist Andres Levell and photographer Fabiola Ferrero will be together to join the proposals in the fifth Samambaya, with the aim of raising money for the payment for
electrification of the said place. This tourist site has 74 years of history, at least 450 thousand botanical samples preserved and a collection of aquatic plants, in fact, one of the largest in Latin America.
