They are currently a 5th year PhD student at UC Berkeley in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, with a focus on the interaction between algorithmic and societal systems. They have previously worked as a Student Researcher at Google and as a Software Development Engineer at Microsoft, where they worked on a variety of projects ranging from ML solutions for industrial scenarios to crisis prediction for humanitarian aid institutions.
