Mariana Dahan
Mariana Dahan is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in strategy development, ICT policy, and infrastructure. She is the founder of the World Identity Network and Chair of the Universal ID Council. Mariana is a recognized leader in the field of identity and has been honored as one of the Top 100 Most Influential People in Identity. She has been featured in Forbes, The Economist, and TIME magazine for her work on Identification for Development (ID4D). Mariana is also a published author and TEDx speaker. She holds a Ph.D. in Management and Economic Sciences from Paris II Assas University and Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Paris, France. Mariana has served as a Senior Operations Officer and Senior ICT Policy and Infrastructure Specialist at the World Bank and as the ID4D Global Program Coordinator. She has also held various positions in strategy development at Telecom Operators and Consulting. Mariana is an Ambassador to "Hope and Homes for Children" charity and the #Togetherband campaign by UN Foundation & Bottletop and a Board Advisor to various non-profits. She has been awarded Outstanding Achievement as World Bank Team Leader of the ID4D global agenda and UN Young Scholar.
