Grigore Belostecinic is a Moldovan economist with a specialization in marketing and logistics. He has been serving as the Rector of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova since 2001. Apart from his role as Rector, he has a long history at the Academy, starting as a Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor in the Marketing department in 1991. He then went on to become the Head of the Marketing department from 1994 to 2002 and served as the Dean of the Marketing faculty from 1991 to 1998. Prior to his time at the Academy, he worked as a University Assistant at the State University of Moldova and pursued his PhD at the GVPlehanov Institute of National Economy in Moscow. He also served as an Assistant in the Merceology department of the State University of Moldova.
