Alexandru Roșca is a distinguished academic and philosopher from the Republic of Moldova, known for his significant contributions to the field of philosophy. He completed his education at the State University of Moldova, earning his doctoral degree in philosophy in 1971 and later obtaining his habilitation in 1988. Roșca has held various academic and administrative positions throughout his career, including director of the Institute of Philosophy, Sociology, and Law. He has been actively involved in the academic community, serving on editorial boards and scientific councils. Roșca has received numerous honors and distinctions, including being named a Merited Man of the Republic of Moldova in 1999. He is also recognized internationally, holding titles such as Associate Member of the French Institute of International Relations and Doctor Honoris Causa of the International Academy of Culture and Political Science in France. Additionally, Roșca is a member of prestigious academies such as the Balkan Academy of Science, Free Culture, and Sustainable Development in Sofia.
