Alexei Simaşchevici, a distinguished academic and consultant in the field of physics, was born in 1929. Afterward, he transitioned to the Academy of Sciences of Moldova (IFA AŞM), where he held roles such as academic coordinator, laboratory chief, deputy director, and interim director.Simaşchevici's research focuses on solar cell technologies, particularly semiconductor-insulator-semiconductor structures.
