Valeriu Matei is a Corresponding Member with a specialization in Literature. In 2023, he achieved significant scientific results, including presenting seven scientific papers at national and international conferences, publishing a volume of poems titled Îmbrăcarea în trup (Eng. Dressing in Flesh) in the collection O sută și una poezii by the Editura Acdemia Române, and publishing four scientific articles in national and international journals. Additionally, he served as the Director General of the Editura Academiei Române, overseeing the publication of over 175 scientific journals and more than 90 book titles across all fields of humanities, exact sciences, and natural sciences. Under his leadership, the publishing house received prestigious awards, including the Academic Merit Diploma from the Romanian Academy and the Publisher of the Year designation from the Association of Literary Publications and Publishers from Romania. His managerial and scholarly contributions have been widely recognized, making a significant impact on the academic and literary landscape in Romania.
