Lupan Oleg is a highly accomplished professor and researcher in the field of nanotechnology and nanosensors. He holds a Doctor Habilitate degree from the Institute of Electronic Engineering and Nanotechnologies, Academy of Sciences of Moldova, as well as a Ph.D. from the Institute of Applied Physics of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova. He has also completed post-doctorate research at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique in Paris, France, and at the University of Central Florida in the United States. Currently, Lupan Oleg is a Professor Univ., Dr. Hab. at the Technical University of Moldova, where he leads research in the Center for Nanotechnology and Nanosensors, Department of Microelectronics and Biomedical Engineering. He has also held positions as an Invited Scientist at CAU-Christian-Albrechts-Universität zü Kiel in Germany, a Visiting Research Professor at the University of Central Florida, and an Invited Professor at PSL Research University, Chimie ParisTech in France. Lupan Oleg has published extensively, with 178 ISI papers, 1 book, 3 book chapters, and 11 patents to his name. He has also served as a member of 2 PhD juries and an official referee for PhD dissertations. He is a WoS Highly Cited Researcher HCR - 2018, cross-field, TOP 1%. His areas of expertise include nanomaterials, material characterization, optoelectronics, photovoltaics, and thin film deposition.
