Leonela Amoasii is a Director of Research Gene Editing at Vertex Genetic Therapies since July 31, 2019. Prior to that, she held the same position at Exonics Therapeutics starting December 31, 2016. She was a Post-doctoral Fellow at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas from November 30, 2012, until September 30, 2018, and a graduate student at IGBMC from September 30, 2008, until October 31, 2012, where she received the Best Oral Presentation award at the Journée de Campus d'Illkirch meeting in December 2010.
