Nina Gheihman is a sociologist, author, and entrepreneur who co-founded Plant Futures, a non-profit organization affiliated with UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from Harvard University and a Certificate of Plant-Based Nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies. Nina has consulted for major food brands and her scholarly work has been covered by media such as The Atlantic, The Telegraph, and Refinery29. She also serves on the award committee for the Greg Steltenpohl Pragmatic Visionary Award. Nina has received several scholarships and awards for her work, including the Writing Fellow at Mesa Refuge and the Mudita Scholarship for "Cultivating Concentration" at Spirit Rock Meditation Center. She has also published articles in Sociology Compass and Oxford University Press.
