Liz Vaughan-Adams is an experienced corporate communications professional with over 14 years of experience in various industries, ranging from FTSE 250 to start-ups and SMEs. She has a background in financial journalism, specializing in equities, particularly tech/telecoms, and has worked across national newspapers, newswires, financial magazines and broadcast. Liz has a track record of building communications strategies to build and protect corporate reputation and shape perceptions through effective messaging and stewardship. She has expertise in financial PR & reporting and public company regulatory/compliance matters in financial services, physical and life sciences. Her experience includes crisis management, M&A, IPOs, media relations, internal communications, CSR, and social media/digital strategies. Liz has a solid understanding of capital markets and experience in investor relations. She has represented the Group in an 'investor director' capacity on one of its portfolio companies and is a member of the Group’s Disclosure Committee as well as its ESG and Culture and Engagement working groups. Liz holds the Certificate in IR from the Investor Relations Society and has been a judge at both the National and Regional Press Awards. Currently, she is the Director of Communications and IR at IP Group plc and is a member of the Group's Crisis Response Group set up in response to Covid-19.
