Serafim Andrieș is a researcher in the field of soil sciences from Moldova. He was born on February 6, 1942, in Cașunca, Florești district. He is a doctor of agricultural sciences and has successfully developed the scientific basis for regulating effective soil fertility, optimizing mineral nutrition of agricultural crops, and increasing soil productivity. He graduated from the State University of Chișinău, Faculty of Biology and Pedology, specializing in agrochemical pedology in 1965. He has received various honors and awards for his work, including Diplomas of Honor and silver and bronze medals from the Exhibition of Achievements. He is a member of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova and has published numerous scientific articles and reports on soil science.
