Sion Hau is a Ventures Associate and Analyst at Plug and Play Tech Center with a passion for the intersection between life sciences and technology. They have won several awards, including first place in the NYU Abu Dhabi International Hackathon for Social Good in the Arab World and the UAE Space Agency Tests in Orbit Competition. They were also a Best Diagnostics Project & Overall Finalist Nominee at the International Genetically Engineered Machine competition in 2018. Recently, they have published a study on the estimation of bacterial cell count from optical density in Communications Biology.
