Stanislav Groppa is a Moldovan academician and specialist in the field of neurology and medical genetics. He is a professor and head of department at the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Nicolae Testemitanu” in Moldova. He has published over 450 papers, including nine monographs and five textbooks, and is the author of doctoral training programs. Groppa is also a prorector for research activities and a chief researcher at the university. He has received several awards for his contributions to the field of medicine, including the European Epilepsy Service Award.
