Cristina Grossu-Chiriac is a distinguished professional with a multifaceted career spanning academia, translation, and executive leadership. Prior to this, she served as the Executive Director at the Moldovan-German Forum, where she fostered bilateral relations and promoted cultural and economic exchanges.From 2010 to 2016, Cristina worked as a freelance Conference Interpreter and Translator, demonstrating her expertise in multilingual communication. Her academic contributions were significant during her tenure as an Associate Professor Ph.D. at the State University of Moldova from 2000 to 2015, where she focused on Comparative Literature and German Language and Literature.Cristina's educational background is equally impressive, holding a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature and multiple degrees in German Language and Literature from prestigious institutions including Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Freie Universität Berlin. Her scholarly pursuits were recognized with a Forschungsstipendium and a DAAD-Jahresstipendium, highlighting her research capabilities and dedication to her field.With a career marked by leadership, academic excellence, and linguistic prowess, Cristina Grossu-Chiriac is a prominent figure in Moldova’s cultural and educational spheres.
