As a member of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, Cimpoies dedicated his life to advancing agricultural practices and education. He authored and co-authored over 200 scientific and methodical works, including nine invention patents and seven monographs and manuals, which have been pivotal in shaping modern agricultural methodologies.Cimpoies also served as the rector of the State Agrarian University of Moldova, where he was instrumental in nurturing the next generation of agronomists. His leadership at the university was characterized by a commitment to academic excellence and innovation in agricultural education. His work not only enriched the academic community but also had a profound impact on the agricultural sector in Moldova.His passing on March 25, 2024, was a significant loss to the scientific and academic communities.
