Vasile Moraru is a distinguished academic at the Technical University of Moldova in Chisinau, MD, known for his significant contributions to the fields of computer science and engineering. Currently serving as a Professor and Dr. in the Department of Computer Science & Systems Engineering since 2017, he teaches advanced courses, supervises research, and mentors graduate students while actively participating in innovative research and industry collaborations. Previously, he was the Head of the Department of Applied Informatics from 2007 to 2017, where he managed departmental operations and updated academic programs to incorporate new technologies. From 1998 to 2007, he served as the Vice-dean of the Faculty of Computers, Informatics, and Microelectronics, playing a crucial role in administrative and academic functions, policy-making, and strategic planning.
