Viorel Bostan is the current Rector of the Technical University of Moldova, holding a Doctor Habilitate and Professor title. He was re-elected in 2020 for a second term. He has a background in applied mathematics, numerical analysis, computational fluid dynamics, and renewable energy conversion. He has published over 120 research articles and has been cited over 250 times. He is also a member of the Moldova Electronics Association.
