Irina is a Senior Java Developer at Endava, a talented engineer who embodies the company’s core values being open, adaptable, smart, thoughtful, and trusted. Possessing a strong set of hard and soft skills, she quickly integrated into the fast-paced IT world, becoming a reliable team player.A graduate of the Technical University of Moldova, she is a proud alumna of the Construction Faculty, specializing in Real Estate Appraisal. During her studies, her only IT-related work involved using MS Word and Excel. This continued for another three years while working as an appraiser until a friend invited her to the IT industry. Adventurous by nature and loving a good challenge, Irina decided it was the right time to pick up a new language­ – Java. Disciplined and determined, Irina never saw it as a difficult task, and probably, programming decided to yield and not be tough for her: within a couple of months, she not only achieved a national certification in her previous profession but also secured a place in a coveted internship program. Since then, surrounded by many brilliant minds, Irina has been elevating her technical skills, emerging as a supporting leader and an insightful decision maker.As a part of the Java community within Endava, Irina participated in numerous endeavors, such as University Tech Courses, DevWeek, and InnovationLab. This year, driven by a desire to promote positive changes in the community, Irina decided to join Tech Women Moldova.
