Ali Ismail Awad (Ph.D., SMIEEE) is currently an Associate Professor of Cybersecurity at the College of Information Technology (CIT), United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. Dr. Awad also coordinates the Master’s Program in Information Security from 2022 to the present at UAEU. He is also a Visiting Researcher at the University of Plymouth, United Kingdom. He was an Associate Professor (Docent) with the Department of Computer Science, Electrical and Space Engineering, Luleå University of Technology, Luleå, Sweden, where he served as a coordinator of the Master’s Program in Information Security from 2017 to 2020. He was an Associate Professor with the Electrical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Al-Azhar University at Qena, Egypt.
