Alice Bentinck is one of the co-founders of Entrepreneur First, an investment company that specializes in constructing deep tech businesses from the ground up by providing resources and funding for individuals with computer science and engineering backgrounds. Over 100 companies have been founded with the help of Entrepreneur First, some of whom have experienced lucrative exits, including Magic Pony Technology, which sold to Twitter for $150 million and Represent, which sold to Custom Inc for nearly $100 million. Additionally, Bentinck founded Code First: Girls, a non-profit that offers free coding lessons to young women interested in pursuing a career in technology. She currently serves on the Industrial Liaison Board for Imperial College Computer Science and was awarded an MBE in 2016.
