Barry completed his graduation in Business Studies in 1991 and began studying Chartered Accountancy with an auditing firm in Dublin for the next six years. He then received a job offer from a shipping company where he worked as a company accountant for three years. In the year 2000, Barry began his career in the telecommunications industry as a Financial Controller at Celtic Telecom Consultants, a mobile phone distributor. He played a crucial role in the acquisition of Brightpoint (Irl) from the US parent company. Currently, he holds the position of Group Finance Director for BPI Telecom Limited (formerly known as Brightpoint Ireland), Celt Telecom Consultants Limited, and the recently added Cubic Telecom Limited.
