Chun is the Chief Scientist and Co-founder of Advance.ai, a technology company. Before co-founding Advance.ai, he was a Partner at Crystal Horse Investments where he made early stage technology investments in the Southeast Asian region. Chun's past work as an algorithm quant and his research in optimization and simulation in the field of physical chemistry reflect his experience in algorithm design and machine learning. He holds a Ph.D. in mathematics and natural science from the University of Leiden and a Master of Applied Mathematics from the University of Technology Eindhoven. He also obtained a double propedeuse in Applied Math and Computer Science.
