Derek Schueren is the CEO and co-founder of Akorda. He has a prior experience of founding another company called Recommind which was focused on big data analytics. At Recommind, he worked with Global 2000 clients, global law firms, and technology partners in the areas of eDiscovery and Information Access. Derek Schueren is a frequent speaker at industry events and has been recognized as one of the top 100 Global Tech Leaders by Citytech Magazine. He is actively investing and advising start-ups with a focus on enterprise software and artificial intelligence. Schueren holds a BS in Molecular Biology from Brown University and a Masters from University of Oregon. At Akorda, Schueren works towards transforming how businesses contract and aims to bring the market together.
