Prof Dr Dominik Hangartner Professor of Public Policy at ETH Zurich, affiliate faculty at the London School of Economics and the ETH AI Center, Co-Director of the Stanford Zurich Immigration Policy Lab (IPL). Dominik Hangartner is Professor of Public Policy at ETH Zurich, affiliate faculty at the London School of Economics and the ETH AI Center, and Co-Director of the Stanford Zurich Immigration Policy Lab (IPL). After pre-doctoral fellowships at Harvard University and the University of California, Berkeley, Dominik received his Ph.D. in Social Science from the University of Bern in 2011. In the same year, he joined the London School of Economics as Assistant Professor and was promoted to tenured Associate Professor in 2013. In 2017, he joined ETH Zurich and was promoted to Full Professor in 2020. Dominiks research combines field work and statistics to evaluate and design migration and integration policies. He has published over 35 articles, many in leading journals such as the American Political Science Review, Nature, and Science. His research has won several awards, including the Philip Leverhulme Prize, the National Latsis Prize, and an ERC grant.
