Florian Ostmann isHead of AI Governanceand Regulatory Innovation at The Alan Turing Institute, the UK's national institute for data science and artificial intelligence. In this role, Florian leads the Turing's work on the AI Standards Hub a new UK initiative dedicated to knowledge sharing, community building, strategic research, and international engagement around standardisation for AI technologies. More broadly, his work and areas of expertise include regulation and non-regulatory governance mechanisms related to AI and data as well as the use of AI to facilitate the work of regulatory bodies.
